Your scores are based on data collected from people who have participated in ZOE’s clinical studies. Over 1,000 of these individuals spent time in the hospital where we collected intensive information on them, and all of them spent 10+ days at home where they wore multiple digital devices and recorded everything they ate.  This allowed us to measure how their body responded after meals, and link this to other information around them (their fasting blood levels, their weight, their microbiome, etc).

How do we use this to calculate your personalized responses to food? We use machine learning to compare the information you shared with us with the information we collected from all the participants in our studies. This allows us to predict your responses after meals, even though you have not done these  intensive tests.
