In general terms, your Eating Window starts when you have your first meal of the day and ends when you have your last meal of the day, where a day runs from 00h to 23h 59m. The exception to this are meals consisting of black tea / coffee and water, which will not trigger the opening or the closing of your Eating Window.

Please note that we add 30 minutes to the time you logged your last meal to capture the expected time taken to eat the meal.

What if you are changing time zones?

We will be counting the duration of your Eating Window as though you are carrying a stopwatch with you while you move time zones.

For example, say you are having breakfast at 8am in London and flying to Paris (which is 1 hours ahead) to have dinner at 6pm. In this case, your Eating Window will be 9 hours - which is the time between 8am UK time and 5pm UK time (which is 6pm in Paris). Note that in the daily graph we will display the Eating Window based on the times that each meal was logged, in this case from 8am to 6pm.
