In the 'Your Top Food Sources' section for lower quality fats, we show you which were of your logged foods over the previous week were the top contributors to your intake of lower quality fats.
β
βοΈ For each of the logged foods we will tell you how much they contributed to your total energy intake and how their score for you.
β
π₯ There may be foods that fall under the 'lower quality fats' metric which score fairly highly for you. A common case are 'eggs' which are considered a source of 'average' fats and yet score over 70 for many people.
β¨ We understand this may appear confusing. However, we believe that each person is different and that by giving our members all relevant information, each individual can make dietary changes that work best for them.
π€ So, what should you do if you have foods that are high scoring under 'lower quality fats'?
As always, it's about finding a balance that works for you. You may start by cutting back any low scoring food sources or by reducing slightly higher scoring foods if they are big contributors to your lower quality fat intake.
π As a final note, we would like to say that food databases are complex and rely on nutritional information from third parties that may change and vary in quality. At ZOE we work really hard to give you information that is both accurate and comprehensive on thousands of foods. However, we may not always be able to get it 100% right. We thank you for being understanding and always welcome your feedback.
