Overview of The Gut Health Retest Process
Once you've sent your samples back to us, our labs will process them within 30 days, ensuring accurate and detailed results through quality control and validation. We'll then notify you as soon as your gut health retest results are ready for you to explore.
Timelines for Receiving Results
It typically takes up to four weeks from the time your samples are sent to ZOE's labs for processing and generating results.
If retesting is required due to issues with the initial sample, additional time (an extra 3-4 weeks) may be needed to deliver insights following retesting.
Notifications and Updates
ZOE notifies users through the app and email once results are ready.
Emails will be sent to the address linked to your ZOE account. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail folders if you don’t receive one in your inbox.
Handling Delays or Issues
Occasionally, delays occur due to ZOE's commitment to maintaining high-quality lab processes or ensuring accurate results. The team is working to promptly handle all samples and will notify you if extended delays occur.
If there are any issues with your sample (e.g., improper submission), ZOE will reach out to you and provide the option for a retest.
Understanding Displayed Dates vs. Actual Testing Period
In the ZOE app, the results page may show the original start date of your testing period, even if you later complete retests. This does not affect the validity of your updated results, which will still be made available to you.
