You can use your FreeStyle LibreLink app (or external reader) to scan your sensor and check if is working correctly. If you aren’t sure how to do this, you can find step-by-step instructions for scanning your sensor here.

If you see a glucose curve on the screen, you’re good to go!

If the sensor hasn’t been applied correctly, you’ll see an error message prompting you to replace it. Error messages can occur in the first 24 hours after applying the sensor while the sensor is calibrating, so this may be normal and expected.
