Why is my microbiome score so low? I have eaten lots of plants and fiber for years

We understand it can be confusing to receive a lower microbiome score than expected, especially when your diet already fulfills many of your ZOE recommendations.

Diet is one of the biggest modifiable elements impacting our microbiome composition; however, our microbiomes are complex, and having a good diet doesn’t guarantee a high microbiome score.

Other factors, including stress, sleep, activity levels, time spent in nature, antibiotics/other medications, and our environment, can also play a role.
