Your Gut Bug Cluster scores are calculated by assessing which good and bad bacteria associated with each cluster are present in your sample. In addition to the presence of good and bad bacteria, the abundance of each also plays a part. Each bacterium plays a role in your cluster scores, but not all are created equal. Some have bigger impacts than others.

However, some bacteria have a greater impact on your overall cluster score than others. This is because some bacteria are more strongly associated with health outcomes.
