Our Gut Shot has been developed by a world-leading team with deep knowledge of the microbiome and how best to feed your good bacteria. It contains polyphenols from a range of fruit and vegetable sources, kefir with over 1 billion live cultures, probiotic strains and fibre.

Polyphenols are a category of compounds naturally found in plant foods. Our gut shot contains polyphenols from a range of fruit and vegetable sources, including apples, blueberries, strawberries, pomegranates, and much more. Studies have suggested that polyphenols from a variety of different sources can modulate relative levels of gut bacteria.

Kefir is a fermented milk drink made from kefir grains, a specific type of culture. The kefir in our gut shot contains over 1 billion live cultures. Research suggests that a daily intake may improve microbial diversity by increasing the relative abundance of ‘good’ bacteria in the gut and metabolites, including short-chain fatty acids, which are essential for our gut and overall health.

Evidence suggests that probiotic strains such as the ones in the shot are linked to improved gut motility/stool consistency and therefore support gut health.

Acacia gum is a soluble fibre, and evidence suggests that it may help to reduce hunger and support more favorable blood sugar responses after meals.
