In the 'Your Top Food Sources' section for ultra-processed foods, we show you which were of your logged foods over the previous week were the top contributors to your intake of ultra-processed foods.

⚖️ For each of the logged foods we will tell you how much they contributed to your total energy intake and how their score for you.

✨ There may be foods that are considered ultra-processed, based on the NOVA4 classification, which score fairly highly for you. As discussed in our other articles, NOVA4 does not differentiate between healthier and less healthy heavily processed foods. Although heavily processed foods are often less healthy choices. We suggest that you use the ultra-processed food classification as well as your personal ZOE score to make the right dietary changes for you.

🌟 As a final note, we would like to say that food databases are complex and rely on nutritional information from third parties that may change and vary in quality. At ZOE we work really hard to give you information that is both accurate and comprehensive on thousands of foods. However, we may not always be able to get it 100% right. We thank you for being understanding and always welcome your feedback.
