1. Activate your kit in the app
When your gut health retest kit arrives, use your ZOE app to scan the barcode located on the inner side of the top flap of the box. This barcode is on the outer packaging box in which your retest arrived in.
To do this:
open up your app
tap the ‘Scan your ZOE kit’ button
hold your phone above the barcode in your gut health test kit
scan the barcode
If you have any trouble scanning the barcode, just select "Can't Scan?" and follow the prompts.
2. Pick a date to start your gut health retest
Once your kit is activated, pick a date that suits you to begin your retest. The test will take around four days to complete, with a few simple tasks to complete each day.
If you need to change the date of your microbiome retest after selecting the start date and before testing, you can do so by going to the settings page in your app.
3. Complete your gut health retest
During days 1-3, you will need to:
Complete a health assessment
Complete a diet assessment
Log your meals
On day 4 (or the next time you go to the toilet), you will:
Collect your poop sample for your gut health retest by following the step-by-step instructions in your app or printed leaflet in your kit
Mark the task as "Complete" in the app to tell us when you've collected your sample
Send the sample back to us for analysis
