Food score colours explained

You will have seen that foods are categories into four groups with in the app. Here is a bit more information on those groups

🍏 Dark green

  • Score of 75-100

  • 'Enjoy freely' label

  • We predict these foods to be the best for your metabolism and gut. You can a portion of these every day.

  • Its also important to remember that even high quality fat foods in this category should be enjoyed in smaller quantities, such as 30g of nuts/seeds, or 1 tbsp of olive oil, to prevent elevated blood fat levels.

β€‹ο»ΏπŸ’š Light green

  • Score of 50-75

  • 'Enjoy regularly' label

  • You can eat these foods every other day. However, large quantities may have a negative impact.

πŸ’› Yellow

  • Score of 25-50

  • 'Enjoy in moderation' label

  • There are healthier swaps for these foods but having them from time to time (2-3 times per week) in normal quantities is fine.

🧑 Amber

  • Score of 0 - 25

  • 'Once in a while' label

  • There are no foods you can never eat. It’s ok to eat these foods infrequently or in small quantities.
